Social Events

The Club holds many social events throughout the year. Some are after sailing but many more are just an opportunity for our members to get together. We have several formal Club dinners each year, along with many different Class functions. The Juniors have some events of their own, with the Halloween and Christmas parties being highlights. 

The Sailing Club have close connections with our local Lifeboat Station and we try to support them whenever possible. We have an annual Tug of War between Club members and West Kirby Lifeboat, which is always a hard fought event. One other way we support the Lifeboat is our Firework display held each year, where the club is opened up to the public to fundraise for the RNLI.

The Club also has many regular social events throughout the year for our members to get involved with. In the winter months we have a Wednesday Night Quiz in the main room, open to everyone, bring your own team or join one of the existing teams. The Gentleman's Lunch happens each Wednesday from 12.30 - 14.00. The Ladies Lunch is less frequent happening one Thursday a month 12.30 - 14.00.

We have a snooker team, who meet to practice, as well as have matches with other local clubs.
