Powerboat Training

WKSC are able to offer RYA Powerboat Level 2 to our members.  Training takes place on the Dee Estuary and on the Marine Lake, and is delivered by qualified RYA Powerboat Instructors. Powerboat Level 2 is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. The course focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations.

We also offer RYA Safety Boat courses depending on demand.

All courses are advertised to members when available to book.
