| The Ceilidh is on this Sunday 4PM!
Just a few tickets left, you will be able to pay on the door if your plans have changed. This is the Summer Pavilion's last hussar before it's filled with Stars and Hilbres for the annual winter boat fettle. We would like to say a big thank you to Mal Jones who stepped down as Captain a few weeks back, due to personal reasons. Sam Riley has filled the breach, and I think you'll all join me in thanking him for doing a sterling job so far! Also one of the world's greatest living Belgians has taken over the job of Boat Storage Manager. JLS, thank you, you wonderful man! Sailing Secretary Tony Marston and his team have set up the Start to Race Program, first session was last week, but you can still join in. It is already nearly full (and already outgrown the Training Room and Macdona Room!). If you want to get one of the last places, let Tony or his Team know ASAP. Chris |

Saving Lives at Sea We will be showing the next episode tomorrow in the Main Room at 8 pm, as some of our members, along with our local lifeboat crew will be on!Helen's Sunday Roasts are back!!  Thursday afternoon RC sailing at WKSC - come and join us!  Event Suggestions Your House Committee are planning next years events. If you have any requests or suggestions please pop a note in the box in the foyer, or email the House Team - house@wksc.org.uk Merchandise Some of our older stock is currently on sale. Pop down to the Club and see if anything takes your fancy. |

Ceilidh - Sunday 21st September - 4 pm - Get your tickets now or turn up and pay on the day! This was a fantastic event last year. You don't need to know any of the dances as the caller talks you through it all. It is a great way to meet new people in the Club, but also please bring friends and family along to enjoy the event. Paul and Helen will be providing fabulous food, which is included in the ticket price. Whether you just want to come and watch the fun, or join in with the dancing, it's a Sunday afternoon, so let's get together and finish the summer on a high. Tickets on sale at the bar or contact house@wksc.org.uk  Annual Ball - Saturday 4th October - Please note - last date to purchase tickets TOMORROW 18th September. Everyone is welcome. A lovely evening to dress up, enjoy good food and great company. Music and dancing after the meal.
