RACING OVER THIS COMING BANK HOLIDAY WEEK-END

NEWSLETTER 270826

SAILING MATTERS

Here we are at the end of August with the Bank Holiday Weekend ahead of us. Very soon we run out daylight for evening races. All the more reason to take every opportunity to sail this coming weekend. The Sailing Programme has a Tidal Special for Saturday, Autumn Tidal Sailing on Sunday and a Bank Holiday Tidal Special for Monday.  In addition there was to be an Open Event planned for  the International Canoe Class. Sadly that has been cancelled as we recorded no interest/commitment from outside of the club. It was always a risk planning an open event over a bank holiday week-end. Who wants to travel on such a week-end? Answer nobody which is a good reason to be optimistic that we will attract many members to come out and sail rather than go elsewhere.

So…. Mr Sailing Secretary - What have you got planned for us?
